Aspragus Recipe Contest from RegionalBest.com

The ladies over at RegionalBest.com have cooked up a fun recipe contest. Open to both professional and home cooks, RegionalBest wants your best asparagus recipe. The prize is $1000 worth of gourmet food products from their site. Hurry up because your original recipes must be sent via e-mail by Wednesday, May 20.
It turns out that President Obama is not a big fan of asparagus, not to the extent that George Bush hated broccoli, but aspragus would generally be Obama’s last choice for a vegetable. Marsha and Caragh are going to send a collection of the winning recipes to the White House chef in hopes of wooing President Obama’s palate. I am thinking a nice arugula and asparagus salad might be in order. How about a asparagus and ham omelette? Ahhhh, all the possibilities, so little time. Get cooking flavoristas!
