Our Kitchens

Where we cook and create:

Kimberly:

Several years ago, our kitchen underwent a down to the studs remodel.  The space is quite small so every inch was methodically planned.  My favorite functional parts of the new kitchen are the dishwasher and my prep sink.  My favorite aesthetic components are the custom cabinets and granite counter tops.

Liquid Pantry Essentials

Ahhhh, space for all of those “only need to use once in a while”
pieces of equipment.

This shot is missing one giant cup of coffee, three bambinos and one husband
demanding my attention while I attempt to type.  Writing in the kitchen can be a
challenge, so I often opt out of the kitchen for my office.

Barr:

While by no means my dream kitchen, it is very functional with lots of storage and plenty of counter space.

My cooking pan super star: Cast iron that I bought used.
It’s perfectly seasoned.

World of Spices

This magnetic spice storage is in my pantry closet. I buy my spices from a local
Colorado company that grinds and blends each week. Buying from them not
only ensures freshness, but they have some amazing specialty items.

I love having my cookbooks right near the kitchen.
